Dosage and Administration:

Adult and children >12 years old:

10 mL daily

Children

– 6-12 years old:

10mL daily or 5mL twice a day

– 2-6 years old:

2.5mL twice a day

Indication:

Cetirizine is used for the treatment of symptomatic relief of allergic conditions including
rhinitis and chronic urticaria.

Contraindications:

1. Hypersensitive to the active substance or any of the excipients, to hydroxyzine or to any piperazine derivative.
Previous history of unusually severe adverse reaction like excessive sedation or
CNS stimulation.
2. Patients with severe renal impairment at less than 10mL/min creatinine clearance.
3. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance.

Special Precaution:

May affect ability to drive and operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. Convulsions in epileptic patients.
Pregnancy and elderly.

Storage Condition:

Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
